We completed a comprehensive internal and external renovation on a 50-year-old former government residence in Holt, coupled with a rear extension. The transformation involved the removal of outdated ceilings, replacing them with raked ceilings in the kitchen/living area.
A new kitchen, joinery, bathroom, and WC were installed, accompanied by new flooring throughout the entire house. The project also encompassed a full repaint and the installation of new aluminum double-glazed windows.
Structurally, we upgraded the load-bearing walls by introducing new beams to every window and door opening, installing new rafters to the roof. The kitchen/living area was extended to create an open-plan living space, featuring a triple stacker door that opens onto a new composite deck. This comprehensive renovation and extension have revitalised the property, bringing it up to contemporary standards.
